Editorial Responsibility
Created and maintained by Muhammad Umair, founder and publisher of TechTride.
Muhammad Umair owns final editorial responsibility for topic selection, calculator explanations, published wording, corrections, and updates. TechTride does not present a fictional editorial team or unnamed professional review board.
How Topics Are Selected
Topics are selected when they address a clear workplace calculation or information need that can be explained responsibly. Current priorities include PTO, vacation, sick leave, paychecks, overtime, work hours, final pay, and practical small-business PTO recordkeeping.
A topic is not published merely to create another URL. Existing pages should be strengthened when a proposed topic substantially overlaps an existing calculator or guide.
Calculator Formulas and Assumptions
Calculator pages should explain the formula, identify defaults, label optional estimates, and describe important exclusions. Shared code constants are used where practical so implementation and methodology remain synchronized.
A formula is not presented as a legal entitlement or exact payroll calculation. When a calculator cannot implement a policy rule, tax detail, or state-specific calculation, the limitation should be visible.
Official Sources and State Information
For state-law information, TechTride prefers official labor departments, tax agencies, legislatures, and other government sources. Employer policy, agreements, local rules, agency interpretations, and individual facts may still affect the answer.
An official link does not mean TechTride has received agency approval or legal review. State-law summaries remain general and should be checked against the current source.
Examples
Examples use hypothetical hours, rates, balances, schedules, deductions, and dates to demonstrate calculator math. They are not customer stories, case results, employer records, testimonials, or promises of a particular outcome.
Examples should be internally consistent with the visible formula and should use cautious estimate language.
Page Review Records
The project keeps a route-level maintenance record with the page owner, last recorded content update, manual-review status, professional-review status, source-health notes, correction entries, and legal-review priority. Missing dates remain identified as not separately recorded rather than being replaced with an assumed date.
A content-update date, source-review date, and manual-review date answer different questions. Updating code or rebuilding the site does not by itself prove that an external source was rechecked.
High-Risk Legal Review Queue
Jurisdiction-level PTO guides, state-specific legal context, final-pay resources, state sick-leave pages, and similar high-risk material remain in a separate maintenance queue. Pages with unresolved source access, case-law dependence, or unclear official guidance receive manual-attention priority.
Being in the queue is not a claim of legal review. It is an internal reminder to preserve cautious language, verify current official material before substantive updates, and keep unresolved limitations visible.
Updates and Review Triggers
Pages may be reviewed when calculator code changes, shared constants change, an official source changes, a correction is reported, internal links break, or visible content no longer matches current site behavior.
Last updated dates identify meaningful content revisions. They do not guarantee that every source, employer policy, or law was independently rechecked on that date. A separate Sources reviewed date appears only when the page has a supported source record.
Corrections
Reported issues are compared with the current code, visible formula, cited source, and affected page. A correction may update calculator logic, wording, assumptions, links, examples, metadata, or the update date depending on the issue.
Users can report an error through the Contact page. Reports should identify the page URL and issue without including sensitive documents or private employment records.
Public Correction Log
Material public corrections recorded in the current project data are listed below. Routine copy edits, formatting changes, and planned content improvements are not labeled as factual corrections.
TechTride public correction log| Date | Affected page | Correction |
|---|
| July 29, 2026 | /contact/ | Correction links using the topic query now preselect Suggest a correction on the Contact form. Form delivery and storage behavior did not change. |

Conflicts and Uncertainty
When sources conflict, a rule is unclear, or employer policy can control the result, TechTride should state the uncertainty instead of inventing a definitive answer. A page may direct users to an official agency, employer, or qualified professional for the unresolved question.
Search ranking, advertising, or content expansion goals do not justify removing necessary limitations or presenting uncertain information as settled.
Professional Review Status
Most TechTride pages have not been independently reviewed by attorneys, tax professionals, payroll professionals or HR professionals unless explicitly stated.
TechTride does not use expert-reviewed labels, review badges, named reviewers, or professional credentials unless a real review occurred and can be identified truthfully on the page.
